Solo travel can be unnerving, but also invigorating. Once you decide that you will stop waiting for your friends group to commit to that really awesome trip, and just go at it yourself, you will open up an entirely new world of opportunities. You’ll get to meet new, amazing people, you’ll experience new things at your own pace and most importantly, you’ll likely discover so much about yourself along the way.

2022 was definitely the year for "revenge travel," and I don't think 2023 is going to be any different. More countries are reopening for tourism, many hotels stymmied by the pandemic are finally welcoming new guests and airlines worldwide are rebuilding their supply of flights to (hopefully!) meet travelers' demands.
